Remix: Celebrity Retold is based loosely on Eric Draven's Celebrity. The story still features Skyler Thomas as its main character but the events of the storyline have changed dramatically. As with Celebrity, the story features character representations of many actual celebrities. Understand that I have no personal knowledge about the private lives, lifestyles or sexual orientations of the celebrities mentioned in this story and these representations are fictional.

Skyler's recording career covers songs from many artists and genres. I don't always know who wrote each of the songs that he covers but I will credit the artist that sang the songs when I heard them and decided to use them for the story. Some songs are incomplete or I didn't like parts of it for one reason or another and I changed the lyrics. When this happens I'll indicate that I've changed the lyrics while still crediting the singer or songwriter for the lyrics that I haven't changed. Events in the storyline take place a lot differently than the events in actual celebrities' lives. This story is a fantasy, and I will change reality where I see fit to shape this story. The fact that a song, book, movie or television show was released at a specific time is not an issue for this story. Things will happen the way I need them to happen to tell the story.

Skyler Thomas, Brody Tanzek, Christian Kane, Chad Thomas, Carlos Marquez, Cory Stephens, Zeke Manford, Chris Tyler, Steven Coleman, David Velinova, Jerome Pennfield, Joshua Taylor and the group known as Three Six Eight are fictional characters in this story. They do not exist outside the storyline. Justin Dodds, Chip Dodds, Robert Dodds and Shane Dodds are characters created by Greybear for the story, The Road Not Taken. This story is written, and should be read in fun. It is a fantasy and should be taken lightly. Although I try very hard to make the story as realistic as possible please remember that it is only a story.

Let me warn you that the companion contains extensive story spoilers depending on where you are in the story.

The man in the pictures on this site used to represent Skyler Thomas is Billy Brandt. He is NOT a recording artist. He is a pornographic actor. He has no connection to this story and his pictures are used as a way to honor him, not to mock him.
