Interesting Facts:

• The show sold out in only forty-five minutes.
• Skyler invited the cast from the set of the movie to join him for the final song.
• The set, payroll and equipment costs were far more than what was made from ticket sales, so in a sense, Skyler paid to perform for Sydney.
• The show was filmed by Renny Harlan, the director of the movie, The Eye of the World: The Wheel of Time.
• Maverick Entertainment announced that the show would be televised on HBO, but no deal with HBO was ever made, and Skyler never consented to having the show filmed by anyone other than Renny Harlan.

Interesting Facts:

• In Tokyo, Japan, troops had to restrain 25,000 fans seeking to greet Skyler and Chad at the airport.
• With nineteen songs, the shows on this tour were the longest Skyler had ever performed live.
• In just two hours, tickets sold out for the Miami, Florida show.
• In Miami, Skyler shocked stadium officials when he ordered that the sky box be emptied and set up for the family of ten year old Lissa Mealiff, a nurse and medical equipment. He refused interviews about why these changes were made, but issued a statement that every fan was important to him.
• Skyler and Chad performed on two continents for over 2 million fans. They earned roughly $700, 000 per show.
• The tour used seven busses, twelve trucks and six planes to carry all of the dancers, band and stage props. The set took twenty-five crewmen and twelve hours to construct in each city.
• Skyler and Chad made this tour a family business. With their father, step-mother, sister and brother along for the tour, Skyler added close friends from his college days, and just about every member of their security and assitant staff went along as well.
• Skyler and Chad's father, Ben Thomas was in charge of the set. He employed a twenty-five man construction crew.
• Athorities in Atlanta, Georgia arrested three of Skyler's dancers and two of Chad's for assault. Charges were later dropped, and Skyler held a press conference to explain what had really happened. The dancers were attacked after the show and were only defending themselves.
• Skyler's show was performed with acoustic instruments at the Houston, Texas concert. He told reporters later that he decided to be as personal with the audience at that show as possible. He also donated all of the proceeds from that show to the Texas Children's Hospital.
• Skyler canceled three shows, starting with the last show in Montreal. The shows were rescheduled at the end of the tour, and tickets for the original shows were still valid.
• The Vatican in Rome declared the show vulgar, because both Chad and Skyler performed most of the show in costumes that had no shirts. Fans in Italy flocked to the shows in Turin and Florence, making them two of the tour's most successful.

Interesting Facts:

• Doctors strongly advised against this tour so soon after Skyler's accident and head injury, yet Skyler was determined not to cancel any of the booked shows. To show how determined he was, he booked the last three shows, two only separated by two hours in Nice, France.
• Niki Harris refused to tour with Skyler this time around, because he wouldn't listen to his doctors. Because of her refusal, Skyler changed his dancer line up to 18 male dancers one month before the first show.
• Ben Thomas kept a close eye on Skyler during the entire tour, and it is reported that he called Madonna three times to make Skyler slow down.
• This was Skyler's most elaborate tour to date with sets that took a seventy-five man construction crew to build the sets in each city of the tour. The tour was transported on fifteen buses, thirteen trucks and six jets. With eighteen dancers, seventy-five crewmen and tutors, assistants, managers, promotion and security there were one hundred, forty people connected to the tour. There were so many people connected to the tour that the show booked entire hotels in most cities on the tour. In several cities the show broke up into three groups in three different hotels.
• Fans in Tokyo, Japan erected a fifty foot silk poster of the "Hearts In Armor" album cover in the parking lot of the hotel. More than twenty thousand fans met them at the airport when they landed and Skyler signed autographs and posed for pictures for three hours.
• Skyler was forced to cancel two of the Los Angeles, California shows due to a scheduling conflict at the arena. One show was canceled in Worcester, Massachusetts because of Skyler's health. Two shows were canceled in Rutherford, New Jersey for health reasons as well.
• In Chicago, two of Skyler's dancers were injured in a car accident. David White suffered a broken leg and couldn't continue to dance in the tour. Dale Durante took over from Michigan on.
• As the tour swept through America a special release of "Hearts In Armor" was sold in record stores. There were two live tracks and the CD was cased in a polished titanium case with the word "Indestructible" engraved in the center.
• The last show in Toronto, Ontario was canceled due to ticket discrepencies. Three hundred fraudulant tickets were confiscated by Toronto police.
• The Vatican in Rome banned the tour from coming through Italy, forcing Skyler to cancel the three shows in Italy. Skyler's promoters issued statements saying that Skyler would never perform in Italy again. The Italian fans were invited to see the show in Germany by Skyler himself.
• Several special guests joined Skyler on stage in various shows. The most to join him in one show were Jordan Knight, Jeff Timmons, Brittany Spears, Madonna, Cassie Thomas, Nick Lachey, AJ McLean and Chad Thomas in Chicago, Illinois for a rendition of "Do You Wanna Touch".
• September 22, 2000 saw so many celebrities and friends of Skyler's show up in London that three hotels were booked to accommodate everyone. The guests arrived to celebrate Preston's first birthday.
• This was Skyler's most successful tour to date with 100% of the shows selling out, making Skyler roughly $900,000 per show.

• The concert was free to the public. This was Skyler's very first absolutely free concert.
• Skyler had the show filmed for later release. No other network or studio knew about the show in time to film it.

• Ben and Tabitha Thomas refused to tour with Skyler this time around. Skyler hired Bruce Beckham to head the crew of two hundred construction workers.
• Fans slept in the rain for three days and nights to get tickets to Skyler's London shows. Tickets for the first three shows sold out in under two hours.
• Skyler shocked fans world wide by his "Techno Cowboy" outfits and erotic dance moves.
• With twenty-two dancers, a two hundred man construction crew, assistants, security and technicians there were over six hundred people connected to the tour. Fifteen buses, seven jets and ten trucks transported the show from venue to venue.
• Fans commented that the lazer-light shows during the production were amazing. It took fifteen computer programmers to program the lighting for each show.
• Over four hundred celebrities saw the show all over the world.
• Skyler canceled two shows in Paris to fly back to the US to attend the funeral of Laura Ullman, his one time agent.
• In London, England Madonna joined Skyler on stage for a rendition of "It's Not Your Business".
• The entire tour was met by a group calling themselves The Christian Rite when they arrived in Pennsylvania. Police had to be called to the scene to break up the protesting long enough for Skyler and his tour staff to get out of the airport.
• 300 Christian protesters were arrested outside the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey for attempting to steal the tickets from the fans and prevent them from entering the arena.
• The National Guard was called in to stop protesting long enough for Skyler and his tour staff to enter the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
• In Michigan, Skyler sang "How Do You Get That Lonely", instead of "Words Get In The Way". This was the first time Skyler changed his song line up for any tour.
• In Los Angeles, Skyler invited one hundred fans back stage for an after party after each show.
• In Holland, mobs of fans followed Skyler's every move, chanting his name outside hotel rooms and causing such a scene that authorities had to break up groups ten different times in one day.
• In Nice, France, fans erected a five hundred foot poster of Skyler's New Vision album cover across the street from Skyler's hotel.
• The final show in Nice, France was recorded by Sky High Entertainment. Ticket holders to that particular show were given coupons for advance copies of the DVD and Video.
• This tour was one of Skyler's most successful with all but four shows selling out completely, making him roughly $850,000 per show.
