Welcome to Eastwick. You're probably thinking that this story is a fan fiction of the ABC series titled "Eastwick". Well you're wrong. Do you remember a movie staring Cher, Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer and Jack Nicholson? It was released in 1987 and told the story of three women named Alexandra Medford, Jane Spofford and Sukie Ridgemont. They were three women stuck in their own dead end lives. They got together once a week for martini night. On one of these nights the three women made a wish. They wished for a dark prince who'd arrive in a cloud of mystery to make their dreams come true. What they got was Daryl Van Horn, an evil little devil. Well, with Daryl's help the girls basically ran amok, leaving destruction and mayhem in their wake. They got rid of Daryl Van Horn, but not before he'd impregnated each of them. At the end of that movie, two things were revealed. One, each of them had given birth to a son. Two, Daryl wasn't really gone completely.

Well this story is about what could have come later. We find our three main characters on the day of their mothers' funerals. It's been almost sixteen years since they were born, and all three of their mothers have died under mysterious circumstances. Alex believes that someone killed his mother and that the killer is on the loose. John believes that his mother died from a broken heart. Stewart "Stew" believes that his mother took her own life after the death of his older sister.

The three young men are given into the care of the one man they'd known all their lives. Fidel was once Daryl Van Horn's butler. Now he is the guardian of three of the most powerful male witches the world has ever known. They just don't know it yet. This story follows them through their journey of discovery. Share their grief with them as they begin to learn that they aren't like everyone else . . .

The movie was directed by George Miller and based upon the book written by John Updike. These characters belong to those men. I have simply borrowed them and given them names and story lines. I make no money from this story, so I feel no guilt. However, the main characters of the movie, save for Fidel and possibly Daryl Van Horn do not appear in this story. If they do it is only in memory.
